NTC approves MNP new deadline
The National Telecommunications Commission approved the extension of the deadline for telecom operators to have their Mobile Number Portability (MNP) systems ready by another nine months from the original deadline of within this month.
The extension period will take effective once the NTC issues the administrative order on the matter. If the telecom operators fail to finish the MNP within the extended deadline, they will face a punitive measure.
