Thai Oil profit jumps to Bt1.97 billion

Thai Oil Plc, the country's largest oil refiner, posted the net profit in the third quarter of Bt1.97 billion, thanks to the higher crude oil prices that boosted the value of its inventories.

Thai Oil witnessed a net loss of Bt5.8billion in the third quarter last year.

Meanwhile, IRPC Plc, a related company, also recorded profit of Bt2.29 billion, compared to the net loss of Bt4.43 billion over the same period last year.
