
Lampang Governor Supakit Boonyarittipong
The desperate prayers of a 13yearold Lampang student have been answered by their Majesties the King and Queen after he appealed for help for his povertystricken family.
Lampang Governor Supakit Boonyarittipong announced yesterday that the Office of His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary had said that Privy Councillor Admiral Chumpol Pachusanon, on Their Majesties' behalves, would present a vocational fund, a scholarship, and other items to Kritichai Krajai, a Mathayom 1 student at Jaeson Wittaya School, on November 2. The privy councillors will also provide royalgranted items to 500 locals at Muang Pan School in Muang Pan district's Tambon Jaeson.
Desperate letter
In January, Kritichai, wrote a letter appealing for Their Majesties' financial assistance for his education and a new home. The letter described how he had lived in a dilapidated home with his grandmother since the separation of his parents, both poor farmers.
