Saying goodbye with 'Sawasdee'

BANGKOK FILM-GOERS will be the first to see all nine pieces of "Sawasdee Bangkok" when it closes the Bangkok International Film Festival on Wednesday at 4 at Paragon Cineplex.

Commissioned by TV Thai, the project gave top directors the freedom to say whatever they wanted about life in the capital.

Four shorts by Aditya Assarat, Wisit Sasanatieng, Pen-ek Ratanaruang and Kongdej Jaturanrasamee already premiered to favourable reviews at the Toronto film fest.

The other five directors are Bandit Rittakol, Ruethaiwan Wongsirasawad, Prachya Pinkaew, Chookiat Sakveerakul and Santi Taepanich.
