
NComputing recently donated its world-renowned NComputing X550 virtual desktop kits to Mr. Chaiyavut Bannawat, Deputy Minister of Education. The Ministry will pass them on to local schools in Thailand that are in need of computing systems. The donation was part of NComputing's vision to bridge the digital divide by bringing computer access to schools in developing countries around the world.
On this occasion, NComputing also announced its participation in Educa 2009 , Thailand 's first international conference on learning and teaching, hosted by the Faculty of Education, Burapha University . The event aims to revolutionize the development of education, encourage development of innovative educational media & technology, and also works as a platform for the educational community to exchange ideas, knowledge, and collaborate closely with each other.
NComputing has over ten million daily users of their virtual desktops in over 140 countries. Many are used in education, where more than 20,000 schools and millions of students around the world are already benefiting from the technology.
