When it rained money in Pathum Thani

There was a brief traffic snarl up in Pathum Thani yesterday morning when motorists stopped and rushed out to grab flying Bt1,000 bank notes.

Pol Lt-Colonel Waroom Thairatthewin said the notes were seen flying around at 9.30am, adding that it was still mysterious where the money had come from. He urged the motorists to hand the cash over to police in case the owner later files a complaint.

He said the cash could easily have been in the tens of thousands.
