Settha said he had believed that his two vast plots were in Kanchanaburi until recently.
"I was just told that my plots are in fact located in Ratchaburi," Settha said.
This information emerged after the Royal Thai Army's Engineering Department conducted a survey in Ratchaburi's Suan Phung district to help the Department of Special Investigation look into allegations that some investors were encroaching on forests. Records show that Settha, 65, had bought the land legitimately.
The former of member of The Impossibles said he had allocated 200-rai of his land to growing rubber.
