The proposal, which features ratings of Nor 13+, Nor 15+, Nor 18+ and Chor 20+ to make it easier to understand universally and places an X mark in front of each symbol, will soon be submitted to the National Committee for Film and Video, he says.

Film and Video Classification Office director Pradit Prosil says more than ten movies have been submitted under the new rating system and no compliants have been filed by film producers or cinema operators. He says the office will speed up a public opinion poll asking if the films submitted were properly rated.
