Thailand team won Sun Entrepreneurial Award in Open Jive Regional Challenge 2009 held at Singapore

 The regional championship features winning teams from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. Thailand team, Frisky Wyvern, won the Sun Entrepreneurial award while Singapore team won the champion of challenge.

Frisky Wyvern team, from the Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, was inspired by the world's garbage problem. The panel of judges said the team was brilliant in its conception, Change Garbage into Treasure, with an effective application developed to facilitate the exchange of unwanted items for recycling as well as up-to-date information (including facts and figures) about worldwide collaborations to reduce garbage. Users of this application can communicate through social network by using various widgets and open sources technologies available.
