The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will ask city residents whether they want the BMA or any other agency to construct the electric-train system between Morchit Station and Saphan Mai.
"We will pop the question to Skytrain passengers at various stations including Morchit," Deputy Bangkok Governor Thirachon Manomai-piboon said yesterday.
Thirachon dismissed a report that the BMA would conduct the survey because it was unhappy that the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning had planned to take charge of train systems on similar routes.
Bangkok Governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra, meanwhile, said he would consult Transport Minister Sophon Saram about another duplicate route between the National Stadium and Yos Se soon.
