Deputy Prime Minister Korbsak Sabhavasu said the proposal has not fixed out total investment for the development plan as well as it has not shown any progress.

As a result, the cabinet has ordered the National Economic and Social Development Board to draw up a development plan to create Don Muang Airport as aviation hub in the region. The plan should be finished within three months.

A source from the Government House said Airports of Thailand planned to develop Don Muang Airport as a maintenance centre, airforce flight trainning centre and flight school.
