On August 7, "The Star" reality show candidates will visit the "Academy Fantasia" reality show home as part of a statehosted telethon on Channel 11 for Her Majesty the Queen's projects.
PM's Office Minister Satit Wongnongtaey said yesterday that the threehour show starting at 9pm would also raise funds for Ramathibodi Hospital's bone marrow transplant project and the National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand.
Many stars and hosts from all channels have vol¬unteered to man the phone lines to collect dona¬tions.
Besides the reality shows' gettogether, another highlight would be a scoop on bone marrow implants by famous TV hosts Wittawat Sunthornwinet and Sutthipong Thammawuth.
The prime minister would make a guest appear¬ance to say thank you and lend moral support to the programme's participants, he added.
