Panich said the ministry has expressed concern to the United Arab Emirates. He said the UAE government has informed him that they are considering asking Thaksin to acknowledged in writing the limited activities he is allowed while living in UAE.UAE has reportedly said it would allowed Thaksin to reside in the county only if he does not use the Gulf State country as a launching PAD to attack Thailand. It was not clear if Thaksin's meeting with the MPs, as well as his phone-in to his supporters at rallies, would be considered by the UAE as "political interference".
