
Ampon Kittiampon, secretary-general of the National Economic and Social Development Board which is in charge of the plan drafting, said the 11th plan will focus on 5 strategies which will see the balance of the social peace, economic growth, energy consumption and democratic participation.
The NESDB on Friday kicked off the annual meeting to discuss the plan, where 2,500 representatives from the public and private sectors, academics and other stakeholders attended.
Following the meeting on Friday, the agency will dispatch teams to provinces for more hearings. The plan is expected to be submitted for the Cabinet's consideration in 2011.
