
- Kasikornbank offers the "Happy Senior Fixed Deposit" account, a 30-month fixeddeposit account for people aged 55 and up. It provides a special interest rate of 2.15 per cent per annum - against the regular rate of 1.65 per cent - for those who open an account between July 13 and 21. Interest is paid on a monthly basis, with a waiver of the 15-percent withholding tax. Moreover, account holders are covered by 24-hour personal accident insurance. The minimum deposit is Bt100,000, with a maximum of Bt1 million.
- Minor International will sell its fouryear debentures, assigned an "A" credit rating by Tris Rating, at Kasikornbank branches between July 21 and 23. The minimum subscription is set at Bt100,000.

- TMB Asset Management has launched the TMBAM Extra Cash Card for TMB Money Fund unittrust holders. The card allows users to withdraw cash immediately on the unit trusts' redemption at the ATMs of all commercial banks nationwide.
Those who invest less than Bt3 million in the fund can withdraw up to Bt20,000 a day, those with Bt3 million to Bt10 million can withdraw up to Bt30,000, those with Bt10 million to Bt40 million can withdraw up to Bt40,000, and those with more than Bt40 million can withdraw up to Bt50,000. Unittrust holders with an investment of less than Bt10,000 can withdraw 80 per cent of their holding.
- ING Funds (Thailand) is until July 17 launching the ING Thai Greater China Fund to invest in ING (L) Invest Greater China Fund, which in turn invests in 4060 stocks listed on the bourses of China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The minimum subscription is Bt2,000.
