RATCHABURI ELECTRICITY GENERATING HOLDING purchased an additional 4-per-cent stake in the Phetchabun Wind Farm Project for Bt15 million. As a result, the company now holds 30 per cent of Sustainable Energy Corp, the project developer.

 CH KARNCHANG exercised its option to subscribe to 3.96 million capital-increase shares in subsidiary Bangpa-in Cogeneration at the par value of Bt10 per share, for Bt39.69 million. Bangpa-in Cogeneration has requested CH Karnchang to pay for the newly issued shares at 40 per cent, amounting to Bt15.87 million. CH Karnchang will now hold 4.05 million shares, representing 81 per cent of the company's stock.

ITALIAN-THAI DEVELOPMENT signed a Bt377.99-million contract with the Highways Department to proceed with the construction of the New Sarasin Bridge Project in Phuket.

SEAFCO secured a Bt150-million contract for reinforced-concrete structural work on the six-storey building of Kuakaroon Nursing College from the Medical Services Department of the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority.

SRITHAI SUPERWARE's board approved an investment to set up a company in India to import and distribute melamine tableware. The new company has a registered capital of 50 million rupees (Bt35.6 million), of which Srithai will hold at least 70 per cent.

ADAMAS INCORPORATION appointed Nuttavut Manosuthi as CEO and managing director, effective from July 1.
