Pheu Thai Party spokesman Prompong Nopparit said the party would summons Sakhon Nakhon MP Chumpol Bunyai and Sara Buri MP Porapol Adireksarn. It wanted clarification of their actions after the party's disciplinary and ethical committee resolved the two broke the party's regulation number 49 for joining political activities of other parties, violating Article 106 (7).
The party will issue a summons for the two to clarify their actions within seven days. If they do not show up, the party will seek a resolution from the party's executive board and MPs.
If the party resolves by a two-third vote to fire them, the two will lose their status immediately.
If they petition the Constitution Court within 30 days and the court rules the party's decision was not in accordance with the law, the two MPs could then find new parties.
