Veera-Abhisit: Shall the rival meet?
Red-shirt co-leader Veera Musigapong has been approached to appear on a talk show with Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, PM's Office Minister Satit Wongnongtaey said on Tuesday.
The programme, aired on Sundays, is designed to highlight a weekly address from the prime minister in the talk-show format.
Veera, seen as a staunch supporter of ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra, has been an ardent critic of the Democrat-led coalition. He began his political career as a Democrat, however.
Abhisit said he was ready for a television face-off with Veera.
Government House officials said the prime minister expected to reach out to the red shirts through Veera.
