THAI urged to maintain CM-Mae Hong Son route

Thai Airways International is urged to maintain the Chiang Mai-Mae Hong Son route, as the scrapping would severely damage the tourism and trade in Mae Hong Son province.

Mae Hong Son Chamber of Commerce president Supot Klinpraneet said that without THAI, the province's airport would be deserted as other airlines are not dependable.

There was a report that THAI may scrap the route due to losses. Supot said that  THAI has scheduled flights until October and he expected THAI to solve its financial problems then and continue with the operations.
