
Sanan reiterated the union's support for the acquisition of the buses, either through outright purchase or leasing. He said the buses would help save energy cost.
However, the union urged the government to scrap the planned installation of the electronic ticketing system, which could hurt at least 9,000 employees. It also viewed that the global positioning system (GSP) is not necessary.
