"The governor will also announce his performances in person at the exhibition," Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) spokesman Tharadol Piampongsan said yesterday.
Sukhumbhand has been the city governor for about six months already.
"Aside from speaking about what he has already done, he will also tell Bangkok residents about what he is going to do for them," Tharadol said.
According to him, Sukhumbhand has six main policies. On the economic front, the governor plans to establish Bangkok as the region's trade and tourism hub.
"He also aims to make Bangkok a safe place for everyone," Tharadol added.
On the environment, Sukhumbhand has planned to tackle pollution and garbage issues so as to make the capital a more pleasant place to live in.
On education, the city governor intends to implement practical policies for quality educational services and creating a learning environment not just inside but also outside classrooms.
"He also plans to promote the good health for everyone and to provide convenient, safe, fast and low-cost travel services for Bangkok commuters," Tharadol said.
He said the exhibition would be held at the Central World, not BMA headquarters, because the latter's more convenient location would appeal to a larger audience.
