UTCC forecast sharp export drop
Thailand 's export this year is expected to drop by 17.7 per cent year-on-year to US$146.3 billion, the lowest level in 18 years since 1992, according to the Centre of the International Trade Studies under the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC).
The export decline is due due to the global economic slump.
