PM orders review of online lottery project
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Thursday instructed the Finance Ministry to review its plan to launch that the sale of online lottery via the automatic ticket dispensing machines.
"I want the Government Lottery Office to conduct a review since its planned launch appears to have several problems," he said.
Abhisit said although in his personal opinion he does not approve the online lotteries because of his objection to gambling, he would not intervene if the project is deemed to have met all legal requirements.
