Thaworn said he expected the fact-finding probe by the Election Commission to clear his name as well as his wife's.
"I am confident to be able to clear all charges since my wife and I have no equity stakes in any enterprise operating under the state concession," he said.
He said Ruagkrai should have verified the information he received before filing the complaint with the EC.
He said his wife is an auditor by profession and that she is not a business partner nor has stakes in all the businesses she is contracted to audit.
He claimed his wife had not been linked to any state concessions, hence there was no justification to suspect the offence on equity rules.
