Pradit endorses online lotto scheme

Once Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij gives the signing, the office is allowed to proceed with its plan.

Pradit said it's his policy to legitimise the underground betting, which is also approved by the Council of State. Under the scheme, 60 per cent of the lotto sale proceeds will become rewards, 28 per cent would be remitted to the Finance Ministry and 12 per cent reserved as the Government Lottery Office's expenses.
