Toyo-Thai ends higher despite overall fall in SET
Toyo-Thai Corporation Plc saw its share price end 6.8 per cent from the initial public offering price of Bt4.25, on its first trading day on Tuesday.
It is the first stock to list on the Stock Exchange of Thailand this year, amid market turbulence. Yesterday, the SET Index ended 15.38 points or 2.51 per cent lower to close at 596.54 points on turnover of Bt25 billion.
Suvit Manomaiyanon, general manager of the company, attributed the success to the strong financial fundamentals.
