The hearse carrying Carradine's casket was said to have been escorted to the ceremony by a group of motorcycle riders. According to the source, "The service had both sad and humorous moments. The tone was in keeping with how David lived his life. It was very down-to-earth."
David Carradine's brother Bruce told People.com, "There weren't a lot of tears, but there was a lot of laughter." Among the speakers at the service were Carradine's co-star from 'The Long Riders,' Stacy Keach, as well as Michael Madsen, according to the magazine. Two children of the late "Kung Fu" star performed a musical number on the harp and piano.
The investigation into Carradine's mysterious death in a Bangkok hotel room continues in Thailand. He died earlier this month at the age of 72.
