Sino-Thai wins a Purple Line contract

Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction Plc emerged as the winner of the Purple Line project's second contract, with the bid worth Bt15.3 billion, the Mass Rapid Transit Authority announced on Thursday.

Other bidders are Italian-Thai Development Plc and partner Obayashi Corp and the Ch Karnchang-Tokyo Construction consortium, which proposed the prices of Bt16.4 billion and Bt15.6 billion, respectively.

Ch Karnchang won the first contract of the electric train route.
