Mermaid commissions new vessel building

 The contract was awarded to Bergen Group BMW AS, Norway. The new vessel, named "Mermaid Endurer", will support Mermaid's expansion of its underwater civil engineering services which are expected to enjoy an increase in demand in the near future. The vessel can support maintenance, survey and other underwater activities.

 Mermaid will finance the investment by its accumulated profits and borrowing. It now operates 7 of vessels for underwater activities. Two of them are DSV.
