The Lenovo IdeaPad U350, a thin, light laptop, is powered by Intel ultra-low voltage CPUs and small-form-factor chipsets - with a choice between Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 (1.4G, 800MHz, 3MB), Intel Pentium SU2700 (1.3G, 800 MHz, 2 MB), and Intel Celeron 723 (1.2G, 800MHz, 1MB) processors.

This is stylish portable machine with a balance between ultra-thin and ultra-light and ultra-loaded with PC technology, to provide an excellent user experience.

IdeaPad U350 offers more features and functionality than netbooks because it sets out to be a primary personal computer, rather than a secondary one.

It offers 2GB of RAM and can support a hard drive with up to 500GB of capacity. It has a 13.3-inch LED-backlit screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1366 x 768. It has embedded graphics capabilities and can run high-definition multimedia, gaming and resource-hungry applications.

It is encased in a sleek silver shell, is about one inch thick and weighs about 1.6 kilograms. It comes with a four-cell battery that can run for about five hours, or an eight-cell battery with about 10 hours' running time.

The IdeaPad U350's connectivity supports WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0, it has a 1.3-megapixel webcam and a 4-in-1 card reader. It also comes with ambient light sensor technology, multi-touch touchpad, and Dolby Sound Room with two 1.5-watt speakers.

The IdeaPad U350 is expected to be available in Thailand by the end of this month. It can be expected to cost at least Bt22,280.
