Porntiva wins back control
The committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thuagsuban yesterday allowed Commerce Minister Porntiva Nakasai to select a special working team to handle the sale of the mortagaged farm products.
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva had put the controversial government rice sale on hold after a feud broke out between Deputy Premier Korbsak Sabhavasu and Commerce Minister Porntiva Nakasai.
The premier assigned Deputy Prime Minister Suthep to play the mediator yesterday to defuse such feud.
