
Abhisit said that if he had to quit politics he would like to produce television news-analysis programmes.
"I should like to see more of this type of programme in Thailand,'' he said.
The PM also said he wished to see the media work independently without any outside pressure or influence.
He was addressing the congress of national media on "The media's lesson, the state's power, the power of capitalism and the power of people'' at Thammasat University's Chon Buri campus.
Abhisit said he did not to want to mention media neutrality because he did not believe such a thing existed seeing that every one had an opinion. "The point is their opinions must be expressed freely and responsibly,'' he said.
