
"The property will be managed by the Sofitel chain, which should maintain the hotel's quality with its marketing strength and management standards," Athus said. The new property targets mostly foreigners.
"We are not totally ignoring the impact of the economic crisis. In the initial stages, we plan to draw mainly leisure travellers, though we will keep an eye on any new developments," he noted.
The property offers 147 villas with different views that span the 60-rai area. Facilities included are spa and travel packages.
