China will help develop influenza vaccine

China is willing to help Asean countries develop an antiviral and vaccine should the Type A(H1N1) influenza turn into a serious pandemic.

Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparadai yesterday said his Chinese counterpart Dr Chen Zhu made this assurance during bilateral talks in Bangkok.

Thailand is hosting an Asean+3 Health Ministers' meeting on the Type A(H1N1) influenza at the Dusit Thani Hotel.
