Samsung steps up its touch-phone leadership launching 'Masstige Touch-phone' phenomenon to spur the once exclusive touch-phone experiences to wider consumer groups. Recently, the company unveils the new and affordable 'Samsung Star' touch model complete with basic and multimedia functions in an irresistibly elegant design at a greater value.

This year, Samsung is planning to launch the 'Masstige Touch-phone' strategy to turn a new chapter of touch-phone business in Thailand, beginning with the launch of the latest full-functioned model complete with advanced multimedia connectibility and Online Widget to make using it much more fun. This latest model reiterates the fact that Samsung is the global leader of premium mobile phone with new, cutting edge technologies and innovations.
Samsung is now planning to make a grand nationwide launch of the affordable 'Samsung Star' model that is complete with multimedia functions and irresistibly elegant design. In an ultra thin case of merely 11.9 mm, the phone boasts 3-inch display screen and Samsung's TouchWiz 1.0 touch technology that makes using the phone easy and more enjoyable. The featured Online Widgets also allow a more convenient and unlimited access to the Internet; users can blog or upload their photos on the move or even enjoy their MySpace and Facebook societies on the go. The Widgets are also available for every day's usability including accesses to the weather forecasts, Google search, sports news and new game downloads.
'Samsung Star' also comes with complete multimedia functions including a 3.2-megapixel digital camera fitted with 'Smile Shot' program, QVGA-quality VDO, an MP3 player and FM radio, with Samsung's DNSe high audio technology delivering full-blast sound system. The phone is expandable through external memory up to 8GB, allowing the contents of over 2,000 songs, also in-box packed with 4GB memory. The latest featured gadget of this new model includes 'Gesture Lock' function that unlocks the phone only with the owner's writing or drawing on the touch screen.
