ATTA welcome new chief
Surupol Sritrakul was appointed the new president of the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA), at the annual meeting on Thursday
He is replacing Apichart Sankary, who complete two 2-year terms. His appointment came at the time when the tourism industry is suffering from the global economic crisis and political uncertainty.
In his new capacity, Surapol urged the government revoke the state of emergency in order to restore tourism industry.
Surapol, the owner of Jalpak International Thailand Co was former treasurer of ATTA.
