The case refers to Jatuporn and Natthawut accusing Newin in a speech of being behind the blue-shirt protesters, being involved in the clash between the red shirts and the Nang Lerng residents, the clash in Phetburi Soi 7 and the bus-burning incidents on Songkran Day, he said.
The clash between the blue and the red shirts on April 11 resulted in the cancellation of the Asean Summit in Pattaya.
Newin is also suing Adisorn Piangket, president of the pro-red shirt D-Station television channel, for violating Articles 85 and 288 of the Criminal Code and broadcasting messages that instigated people to kill each other.
D-Station had televised red-shirt leaders calling on red-shirt protesters to shoot Newin the minute they saw him.
