Petrol prices raised on Tuesday

Dubai crude oil on Monday hit US$51.17 per barrel, on optimism of the US economic recovery.

The increase followed the University of Michigan's April consumer confidence survey which rose to 61.9, compared to 57.3 in March. Meanwhile, Citigroup and General Electric also showed better-than-expected quarterly results.

Refined petrol in Singapore on Monday rose to $63.56 per barrel while diesel at $60.38.

Thai oil retailers on Tuesday will raise their pump prices by 60 satang per litre on petrol and gasohol products, except E85. They reported the marketing margin of 60-80 satang per litre, before the price increase.
