Thailand's food exports to key markets including the United States, the European Union and Japan enjoyed 2.63percent growth last year. This was achieved despite the fact that the country's overall exports to the three important markets contracted by 26.27 per cent. This indicates that there is still room for Thai food exports to grow.
Overall food exports from Thailand are estimated to reach US$20.3 billion (Bt720 billion) this year.
