Navy officer at the centre of killing plot surrenders
Commodore Chakkrit Sekhanan on Thursday reported to police in order to acknowledge his charges relating to the contract on the life of privy councillor Chanchai Likhitjittha.
Chakkrit denied any involvement in the assassination plot. He said he volunteered his surrender as a proof of his innocence.
He said he did know Major Thienchai Mueangchantuek, the go-between suspect who blamed him for putting out the contract on Chanchai's life.
