Samsung introducd the 'Samsung LapFit Series' of secondary notebook monitors


It is setting out for a yearend total sales of 580,000 units or 32% market share in Thailand's monitor industry this year.

Boonlerd Viboonkiat, IT Business Group Leader, Thai Samsung Electronics Company Limited said that the market volume of the Thai monitor market this year is expected to total about 1.8 million units. Samsung saw a new opportunity in notebook secondary monitors which can still grow along with the ever-popular premium LCD monitors.

Last year, the company stood at the top for 8 years in a roll in the global market in terms of total sales volume with 18% market share and 5 years in Thailand with 27% market share or 470,000 units sold.

This year, the company is to retain its market leadership and to increase the market share up to 32% with total sales of 580,000 units through its outstanding features of beautiful designs and good, environmental friendly technologies.

This year, Samsung introduces 2 new LCD monitor series, including 'Samsung 70-Series', "Samsung P2070" (20"), "P2270" (21.5"), and "P2370" (23"), and new "LapFit Series", "LD 190G" (18.5") and "LD 220G" (21.5").
