
Kanissorn Navanugraha, director-general of the Business Development Department, said in the quarter, 10,094 companies were formed, mostly for construction, property development and services. Meanwhile, the number of companies shutting down business totalled 3,065.
The department will join the Rainbow Project at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, to provide information to individuals who want to form new businesses. The individuals could also tap funds from participating financial institutions at the event, slated for April 3-9.
