Amatayakuls file charges on share certificate falsification



The Amatayakuls on Thursday filed a civil lawsuit against Siam Cement Plc and its executives for damage over Bt200 million, following the falsification of the share certificates belonging to the family.

 The family calls for compensation of Bt222.597 million, plus interest of 7.5 per cent per annum.

 Named as defendants in the lawsuit are the company; Kan Trakulhoon as then senior executive vice president; Chumpol Na Lamlieng as then president; Woraphol Chennapha as Siam Cement's office director; share certificate guarding officer Praphan Choomuang; Duangkamol Ketsuwan; Sobsan Ketsuwan as advisor to the management;  Thailand Securities Depository Co Ltd; and Kiatnakin Securities Co Ltd which executed the transaction of the share certificates.
