The operators, who signed the MOU yesterday to boost confidence among cheque recipients, operate with 3,146 outlets nationwide.
Deputy Finance Minister Pruttichai Damrongrat said some operators are also offering promotions, which are upto 70 per cent at some venues, to encourage spending. He expected more operators to join the programme.
CPF Trading agreed to add the cheque value by Bt200, if the recipients spend their money at its business outlets until end-April. Central Group would also provide additional discounts of 20-50 per cent.
The cheques will be distributed on March 26 to about 9 million people.
