More wireless payments targeted

Wireless-payment service operator Advanced mPay, a subsidiary of Advanced Info Service, is targeting 100,000 active users a month this year, up from 60,000 a month last year, along with total revenue of Bt200 million, double that of last year. The service enables registered users to pay for more than 700 products and services via mobile phone.

AFC signs DHL

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League kicks off the 2009 season with DHL, the world's leading express-delivery and logistics firm, as the official timing and logistics partner.

The exclusive partnership includes a first-ever screening of the 10-second DHL animation during each of the AFC Champions League's 117 live matches broadcast per season, the right to use the designation "Official Logistics Partner of the AFC Champions League" in all advertising, promotions and marketing materials and a segment called "DHL Delivery of the Week" featured in the weekly football-magazine show, said Chananyarak Phetcharat, DHL's managing director for Thailand and Indochina.

Lingerie refills

Panupan Sanguanpak, head of commercial development at Total Access Communication (DTAC), and Amornthep Asepunya, executive director of sales and marketing at Sabina, announced the latest collection of Happy-Sabina refill cards.

Priced at Bt100, each card bears one of four patterns of beautiful lingerie that are sure to please women this hot season. Supplies are limited. DTAC's Happy customers can present Happy-Sabina refill cards to receive a discount of Bt200 off of each purchase of Sabina products worth at least Bt800 at Sabina shops and Sabina counters.

The cards can be used to receive additional discounts at Tesco Lotus, Makro and Carrefour until May 31.
