AIS profit up 0.6%
Thailand's largest mobile phone operator Advanced Info Service Plc saw its 2008 profit rose 0.6 per cent from a year earlier.
Its annualised net profit rose to Bt16.4 billion from Bt16.3 billion a year earlier, Advanced Info said in a filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Wednesday.
Its rival Total Access Communication earlier announced the 60 per cent increase in annualised net profit to slightly over Bt9 billion last year.
