LOHAKIT METAL posted a consolidated net loss for its fiscal third quarter ending December 31 of Bt17.08 million, against a net profit of Bt17.78 million in the same period the year before. Also, the board approved establishing a joint venture with Japan's Mory Industries, to be called Mory Lohakit (Thailand).
The joint venture's main purpose will be to act as a broker for the supply of products and raw materials to Lohakit Metal, its subsidiaries and Mory Industries.
KIM ENG SECURITIES (THAILAND) posted a consolidated full-year net profit of Bt534.78 million, down from Bt551.37 million in 2007.
GLOBLEX HOLDING MANAGEMENT posted a consolidated full-year net loss of Bt119.99 million, against a net profit of Bt10.53 million in 2007.
OCEAN GLASS announced that Staporn Chirasrirungson would resign as director, effective next Friday, and Kirati Assakul as managing director, effective March 1. The nomination and remuneration committees are considering nominating a new managing director this month.
PHATRA LEASING posted a net profit in its fiscal first quarter ending December 1 of Bt47.48 million, up from Bt46.01 million in the same period the year before.
