To celebrate Valentine's Day, Dusit Zoo is displaying one of the world's most faithful couples.

The grey Eastern Sarus Cranes are known for sticking with a single mate for life.

"This bird will never abandon its better half," Sophon Dumnui, Zoological Park Organisation (ZPO) director, said yesterday. "They never cheat on their lovers."

A pair of grey Eastern Sarus Cranes from Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo is now roosting at Dusit Zoo.

"The pair will remain here for three months to mark the Season of Love," Sophon said.

The Eastern Sarus Cranes are a protected species in Thailand.
