"I'd never thought a cellphone battery could explode," the 21-year-old truck driver said yesterday.
He had used a Nokia 3310 cellphone and usually charged its battery.
Samart believes he did everything right when he put the fully charged battery into his phone last Thursday.
"But when I turned on my cellphone, the battery exploded. The explosive sound was so terrifying," he said.
After the explosion, Samart was rushed to a health station and referred to Kaeng Khoi Hospital and Saraburi Hospital, respectively.
