PTT EXPLORATION AND |PRODUCTION established a wholly owned subsidiary named Andaman Transportation with registered capital of US$50,000 (Bt1.74 million) to carry out petroleum exploration and production activities and related business in Burma.

BANGKOK BANK acquired an additional 100,000 shares in BSL Leasing for Bt42.99 million. The bank now holds 358,750 shares or 35.88 per cent in BSL Leasing.

ACL BANK posted a 2008 consolidated net profit of Bt370.65 million, up from Bt342.91 million the previous year.

TATA STEEL (THAILAND) recorded a consolidated net loss of Bt2.26 billion in its third quarter ending December 31, compared to a net profit of Bt616.56 million in the same period last year.
